Students with disabilities and special needs
The university supports the mobility of disabled students. It offers support, integration, equal access and inclusion during studies in frame of the Erasmus+ Program. This applies to many different disabilities: including: physical, mental, intellectual or sensory impairments in interaction with various barriers. The university wants to prevent prejudices and difficulties in preparation for mobility and during time of mobility. Each student can receive support at every stage of mobility, for which employees of the cooperation and development department are responsible. Employees provide information and assistance on forms of physical, emotional, mental and financial support. There are opportunities to take advantage of psychological, professional and other consultations. Students with various needs are also provided with a person called the Rector's Plenipotentiary for People with Disabilities. This person provides help and advice in solving problems and matters related to studies and individual conditions of teaching classes. Students have the option of accommodation in the Student Dormitory, which is adapted for people with disabilities. They can also use the University Library in an individual way.
